A new volume of spiritual writings, My help comes from the Lord, is available now at amazon.com/

This year it is a collection of writings around the theme — when things go wrong, who do we rely on?

This seemed a particularly appropriate theme after several years of trials and tribulations, not just the COVID pandemic but also, here in New Zealand, a deadly volcanic eruption, terrorist attacks, several destructive earthquakes and ongoing catastrophic flooding.

But we keep going, in faith that the Lord is in charge and that He can help us through it all. So we share these writings with you, hoping that they will inspire those who read them.

My story “Endless Sea”, which previously appeared in Landfall 229, has been published by the Edinburgh University Press in Katherine Mansfield.
